The Energy Team were contacted by a private customer in North London with medical needs utilising equipment that needed power 100% of the time. The client required a small, quiet diesel generator in order to power the vital equipment in the event of a mains failure.
After consultation with the customer, a Stephill SSD6000S Super Silent 6kVA/4.8kW single phase diesel generator was selected for the job.

- UK Made 100A single-phase ATS (Auto Transfer Switch) panel with additional Deep Sea DSE333 ATS controller & 12V battery charger
- Appropriate SWA armoured cables - 3 core for generator power, 3 core for 12v battery charge & 2 wire volt free start/stop circuit.
Energy Generator Sales provided the generator without sockets, so we could hardwire the generator using armoured glands and make the install both safe and permanent.
Using Energy Haulage Ltd, we were able to deliver and place the generator and bulk fuel tank at the site. The team delivered and installed the generator and once this was completed, it was commissioned, tested and signed off by an EGS engineer. The ATS panel and electrical install were carried out and signed off by RDC Electrical.
It was a pleasure for EGS to carry out this install for a customer who required the help and backup of one of our generators in order to keep vital medical equipment running at full power in case of a power failure.
